234 is Nigeria and the US Army are NOT deployed to Nigeria, Peacekeeping.
I have recently had contact with this man. He is going by the name James Barry Mixon. Still using Kik as a way of contact. Say he is stationed in NC. Tried to get me to send money so he could come meet me. Luckily It all seemed too unreal and I have friends in the service who told me this was a scam. BEWARE: He is a very smooth talker!

DeleteI hate that I didn't see this before I wasted over 6 months talking to this man. He first hit me up on Facebook and then on the KIK app. He is using the name Sanders John Mixon, told me he was stationed in NC but lived in NY. He hit me up for money as well and unfortunately I was an idiot and fell for it at first till he kept asking for more. that"s when I stopped and stopped talking to him. Only its been over a year and he still hits me up on KIK trying to convince me hes real and not catfishing, but cant talk to you on the phone or give you a number.

I too have encountered this. He is still going by James Barry Mixon. He claims he's been hacked. He was in Single Parent Meet. Still claiming to be in the Navy and is not, I had it checked when things weren't adding up. Profile names not matching. He'll even talk to you on the phone. He'll provide his banking info, with login, password, & Pin, as if people can't create a fake account these days. When the weird stuff about not being able to get funds because of his special assignment started plus the things that didn't quite add up for me I had him checked out. I didn't fall for. Putting this out there for others. If this site wishes to add pictures that he is using I have more.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a fake website so be careful using it. It will probably have a huge amount in there to make you think he is rich. It's ridiculous to think the US Army don't get to their money because they are fighting for the US !

I have just had this guy message me under the name Harry Mixon in the US Navy we have been talking for a week now claiming he wants to leave the Navy to be with me I have doubted him and he has got all defensive nasty I have only just come across this and I feel physical sick I have sent pictures to him not rude ones don't do that. I want to block him but scared to do so I'm in the UK

Never reply to them. They go on attention. Any attention ! They will keep going even telling them not to, they see that as still having your attention !
Then careful who you talk to because there are millions of fakes out there preying on anyone who will talk to them.
