I’m Filipino but I’ve never received a friend request from him. Then again, I used to get so many friend requests from scammers that I can’t tell which one is which anymore.

I know you don't mean to insult but it's NOT just Filipinos who send money easily. It seems whites send more money easily. I'm not telling you that Filipinos aren't like this because there are some who do accept and send money easily. One scammer using Joshua Porter's photo called me stingy. I'm proud of it, and wear that badge with honor.
DeleteWhen it comes to money, I'm willing to give to my family. In all seriousness, scammers take advantage of generous people. I'm not THAT generous to the point where I'll send money to a random stranger I never met in person. However, the scammer pretending to be an orthopedic surgeon almost got me to send money. At first, I was like, $2,800 isn't that much of a money. I can earn it back since I make enough money. Good thing I caught on earlier.
