Let me start by introducing myself, My full name is Fred Helms and I am the only child to my parents. My dad was originally from Helsinki, Finland and my mum Irish, I recently moved here, about a year ago. But I have been in the US for the past 7 years of my Life. Work wise, I am a self employed Civil Engineer, I deal in all kinds of construction & contracting engineering locally and internationally. I am not into games so I'm looking for a serious relationship with someone I can spend the rest of my life with, someone that can be my best friend, share great laughter with and take on various adventurous activities as I plan retiring soon.
Things I like to do, reading, swimming, playing golf, lawn tennis, watching sports, taking long walks, I love the beach very much, also my favorite food will be Italian and seafood.
I have an average body, I don't smoke, I drink on occasions, I don't do drugs and have never been to jail. I was married but lost my wife to leukemia 5 years ago and I have been single ever since. I have a daughter and she is studying overseas to become a Medical Doctor and I'm really happy with who she has become amidst the loss that we both suffered. I'm caring, nice, loving, understanding, romantic, God fearing, faithful. Honestly, I must confess you are pretty but what matters most is true love and understanding which I am looking for and hoping I will find that in you. I had a huge smile on my face going through your email, I really appreciate you for your honesty and sincerity. You sound like my kind of woman. The volume of your simplicity reflects in your words and I applaud you for that. Well it is amazing how we started our communication; I am glad that life brought me in contact with an amazing soul like you, our paths may never have crossed while walking down the street, or while out with friends. It is very unfortunate how your ex husband treated you, he never deserve a loving soul like you, but God always have better plans for us and he made you meet a man like a father to you.
Here is how my daughter describes me. "She said that her Dad is like one of those books that sits on a shelf in between all the beautiful ones, when you first see him the cover might not tell you much, but if you dare to open this book it will be one of the best books you will ever read, and you will never would want to put down". Let me give you an insight of my life. I have always been a one woman man. I dated my high school girl friend right to my university days and we eventually decided to get married immediately I secured my first Job. If I could gift wrap the Globe, I would have given her the world. She was my everything. I never cheated on her. Do you know what hurt most, I watched her suffered several months in the hands of Cancer and I couldn't do anything to save her. I vowed to remain single after her demise, but it's been years she left us now and I haven't dated ever since I channeled all my love to my daughter and job but I am ready to move on and I believe she would want the same thing, I miss cuddling in the middle of the night, Sometimes with the rain falling. I have been so out of love. I am not a one night stand man. I enjoy it most when my feelings are involved. I'm so looking forward finding the right woman and starting a new Life again. I want you to know that I'm not looking for someone to complete me, I am looking for someone to share my everyday Life with. It has been so lonely for me all alone. I need someone to cuddle every night before I sleep. I need some one that will love me genuinely.
I lost my wife to leukemia in 2015. I was devastated and needed a change of environment, I just wanted to move away from my previous life because if I had continued, I probably wouldn't last another 2yrs so I got a contract here and after working for months I realize this is the kind of change I needed so I made some arrangements and moved here. I am a self-employed Civil Engineer and my firm has handled over 2000+ projects both locally and international. I also have a B.Eng. in Structural Engineering. My great dream for the future is to find the Woman who will be my best friend, my lover, my pupil, and my partner in all life's adventures, at the very least. I want someone to spend all my time with, sharing all the pleasures I've discovered in life, and that's a lot, believe me. I also want someone who is very affectionate, because touching and hugging and caressing are a basic part of my spirit.
I am very considerate of other people. I must admit that I do have my days. Smile.......I think loyalty is very Important in a relationship, also trust and respect. Well, I believe if there is true love and understanding It will surely work out and noting can come between two lovers. Do you believe so? Good morning. Hope you had a good night rest? Just so you know, I am looking for a woman who truly loves the Lord, I am glad that God has brought me a virtuous woman that shares the same spirituality and interest, a woman that I can trust to give my whole heart to, a woman who will love me with her whole heart (I promise I won't break it). The beauty of your heart reflects in your words, I don't need a Prophet to tell me that you have a beautiful heart. It is crystal clear that you are as beautiful inside as your looks outside. I also just thought I'd share this with you and know what you think, I understand that there are many different ways to partner, and I try not to judge other people's choices, but for me, I would like to find an equal partner, someone who contributes as much as I do to a relationship. This doesn't have to be about finances, but in totality, the work, effort and total contribution we bring and I am happy you share same views to support and share in each other's dreams, I have expectations for myself and I am sure you do too, we will take on them together.
As a basic foundation I think there should be respect for each other's freedom (though to make a partnership work, I believe that we have to freely choose to take our partner and our family into consideration when we make choices and decisions), honesty and openness, I don't believe that little white lies' are harmless or kind, I believe that honesty, even if we don't want to hear what someone has to say, it's always better in the long run.
I think it's essentially important for partners to be able to trust each other, without that, it just seems like everything falls apart. I also think it's important to be able to express your needs and wants to each other and make decisions together about how to meet them. It's also important to be kind and careful with each other's emotions, to have compassion and empathy with utmost care, the willingness to listen and understand, those are the little things that make a home. I want to support my partner in achieving her dreams, and feel supported by them in accomplishing mine, decision making to pass through each other's table while we come to a common conclusion.

1. Freedom - I need someone that enjoys freedom, that has interests of their own and allows freedom in another.
2. Compassion/Kindness - The Dalai Lama says that compassion is the greatest power. So true..
3. Spontaneity - I love being spur of the moment, living in the moment. Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, and today a gift. That's why they call it the present.
4. Responsibility/Stability - I need to rely on the other person to be there for me and to have our life together and vice versa.
5. Healthy - Body, mind and spirit.
6. Humorous - If you cannot find the humor in life, then what is the point?
7. Spirituality - My partner must have a close relationship with God, as a couple, we should be able to pray together, that makes us a power couple.
8. Intelligence - Must I say more?
9. Passionate - I love a woman that is passionate about life, about the little things, about love.
10. Respectful - One must show respect for their partner.

What a lovely email, now I believe the saying that the best things in life are the ones we never see coming, you are a beautiful surprise to me because I never really thought of joining a dating site, though my daughter tried to talk me into it sometimes ago but I ignored, after realizing how lonely I have been.
I pray you have a great time at the Indian reserve fellowship, God bless you for all you do and reward you with your heart desires, you are such a loving soul and deserves all the best.
Here are some of the things I would love to discuss with you when we finally meet in person. First, I'd like to tell you I am a very principled person and whatever it is that I like, I make sure to always go for it and if I am lucky enough to get it, I will never let it go because I have learnt the hard way after the demise of my late wife, life has taught me to always hold on to whatever it is that I love, to always tell them I love them at every chance I get and to always spend more time with them because you never can tell when things will come to an end. Life is very short to want to wallow in pains or to start feeling bad about what is not right, what could have been and what ought not.
I realize how crazy this may seem to both of us but I do believe in Miracles and work in the Metaphysical World. So why couldn't this be happening? I have prayed and ask God to bring me someone that I may find peace and happiness with, why shouldn't it be you? I think It is time for our blessing.

I really didn't have that much rest, you were in my thought all through the night, I don't know if it was anxiety or my thought of travelling without seeing. I am so glad that I found an amazing woman like you. You are the reason why I look forward to the joy tomorrow brings. You have really changed my life this past weeks and I don't want to ever stop loving you.
I keep reading your emails over and over again and I want you to know how much I sincerely love the messages you send to me daily. It means so much to me. It truly seems like I've known you forever and I honestly can't imagine life without you now. There will be no looking back, no second thoughts and no regrets. I love you and only you... and that love will only grow stronger. Sometimes life hits you with unexpected things that take you totally by surprise. Sweetie hope you are doing great? Reading your email makes me smile and happy, you are always making me laugh and it makes me love you more, the connection between us is something I can not explain but I feel I have found my Soul mate and I am not letting go. Thank you for all your prayers, I could feel the presence of God and you in my heart all through my trip. It really warmed my heart to read your emails from a totally different environment, I want you to know that we finally arrived our destination Istanbul, Turkey. I arrived at exactly 06:43 PM but I have been doing some clearance at the airport and also settling in to my apartment. It was really a long flight but I could not stop thinking about you, I slept most of the hours, I spent most of the time dreaming about us, what it would look like to finally be with you, what it would look like to have you beside me all the time and the fun and joy it brings having you in my life till I am no more...Sometimes, it is fun to travel to places and meet new faces and beautiful and good people, I like it when I meet people, learn about their culture and see what they like most about themselves and their wonderful countries. I am the happiest man at the moment, I remember places I have traveled to, workers were always calling their friends and families and loved ones, I only called my daughter, it is a different thing now, having you to talk to and tell everything happening over here, everyday I discover new things you have changed in my life, I thought about you all the time in the Plane, I got off, smiled and prayed that God continue to bless and keep you safe so I can meet you when I am back.
I really miss you Sweetie and I can't help the way you make me feel. I hope we will take this special relationship into a marriage level as soon as I get back, can't wait for us to unite our families and share the happiness of one big family. Everyday I am grateful to God for bringing you into my life, I know he has great plans for us. I really do have good intentions towards you my PRECIOUS POINTS and I will never let you down, you have no idea how much I miss you; I miss you every day of my life here. I'm grateful to God for bringing us in contact through this medium and I want you to know that I will never let you down. I just want everything to go as planned so that I can return back to you, I just can't wait to share everyday of my life with you. I am so glad that I found an amazing woman like you, I will love you endlessly and overwhelm you with love and care. I honestly can't imagine life without you now. MY PRECIOUS POINTS, Hope you are doing fine and having a great weekend? I can't take my mind off you, since you told me how your kids has been treating you because you are with me, I feel so bad and can't think about anything rather than coming back to be with you. By the Grace of God I will be with you next week, I promise to never stop loving you. I will always and forever love you. I want you to know I appreciate you so much for loving me unconditionally and being strong for us.
I tell you where there is a will there is success ahead. I believe we both know that Love is not a destination but a journey and this is a journey that takes two to walk.
