I have been scammed by someone using Jeff Sorensen photos unfortunately I found out too late. He used name Mike Lee on Facebook dating and also has another under Chelsey. I reported to Facebook but they state there is no suspicious actions. I spoke with him on wats app. He claimed to he deployed and in the military. He was very likeable, charming and persistent. I have lost £720 to the con artist/catfish. I feel so stupid but hope that noone else falls for the lies. Mobile number linked with the fake account was 07862 129807 so anyone with this number block them immediately.

i was sent a friend request on FB by someone using the name Scott Jeff then tried to say middle name was sorenson and had just opened the FB account. He said that he was looking for a good girl and had been single for 4 yrs, and i was the girl for him. he didnt even know me, that was what was so crazy. and He had lost his parents and worked for Homeland Security and could not get his inheritance unless he was in a committed relationship. then said his inheritance was 7.3 million. A little far fetched to think that i would fall for that then he went as far as to say what if it cost me to get my money since when would that happen? and then he began the whole you dont trust me do you? Umm never did! Then tried to tell me he had a surprise for me what ever. Also Asked me if i had a surprise to send him. i said no. Asked him to send me a picture of himself right then and of course he could not do it. I knew it was a scam just tried to get info. He also said he was from Bulgaria. Please watch out for this scam
Scamming on POF as elbera654.. I sent him a link to this exact page advising “him” that he picked the wrong set of photos to use in his fake profile and that a simple reverse image search revealed as such. I’m in Australia, and they’ve even used a local town so they are getting very clever with their local research! I’ve just received a notification that I’ve been messaged back. No doubt full of abuse at being caught out! Glad sites like this exist. These people need to be stopped.

I knew right a way that he was catfishing me. because you can see when somebody is typing on whats app. it was just copied and pasted right on there. and sent within seconds. he also typed using words and grammar that reminded me of my nigerian friends from my college days. I finally asked him to video chat and let him know that it was ok if he didn't want to because i known through this whole conversation that he was catfishing me. he tried to convince me that i wasn't. but i told him that i would tell him how i know if wanted me too. he said yes. so i told him then he blocked me on whats app because you know, that's what scammers do when they get caught haha!

So someone using these photos contacted me on the dating app Hinge - said that he has moved to edinburgh from Oklahoma, his parents died when he was 9 in a car accident and he lived in Turkey for 20 years with a 'bad aunt'. I asked him if he spoke arabic as well as turkish and he said neither!! alarm bells were already going off before then. He also said his wife and unborn child were killed a car accident too. He apparently decided to move to Edin because his parents had taken him here when he was younger but doesn't tie in. he's not added me on any other social media - just on whatsapp.

Found out right away because his grammer was really off if he was from 'Texas' and I surprised Called him asking very simple questions like he didn't sounderstand like was from Texas or quite frankly Caucasian, a spanish accent. And kept making excuses about being on base and how we couldn't continue to call, anyway he's tried contacting me on several other occasions making excuses about his old email not working and each time I call him a scammers and provide proof. And still denies it, nows he's messaging me from a Filppe A Abreu who I looked for also and came up on a scam site.

You are being scammed ! Your scammer can claim all he likes to be the man in the pictures. he isn't
You want a video call..no bad connection and no silent calls. Ask him sit in front of the camera and answer your questions.. and watch the mouth and listen to the voice.
Anything less and he is proving he is the scammer he 100% is.

Only one replied, I'm assuming it's the real Jeffrey Sorensen, he replied that it's not him and the guy is a scammer and not to send money and block him. We've spoken a few times and he wouldn't add me on instagram as he said of all the scammers and didn't want me involved in that.
He asked about texting with me so I agreed were talking on hangouts, his account on instagram is private along with another jeffretaccount.
He says he's single, so I'm not sure what to think?
If he has asked about Hangouts and texting with you then you are NOT talking to the real Jeff Sorenson. I can promise you that.

Scout has had some problems with his coat and he was advised to use Apple Cider Vinegar !
Some good questions to test him with ! we talk to the real Jeff on Instagram and we know he is on NO dating sites and he does not talk to women.

I was contacted by someone using this man's pictures on Instagram. The name on his profile is Terizack. He's going by the name Zachary Nash Matin. Is asking for money for iTunes cards and everything. Told me he is deployed in Yida right now and needs cards for data. I played along to try to get more information to report it. Please be careful on these social media platforms.

I have never spoken to him or emailed, just messages from Instagram and KIK app. He goes by the name of Alex Raymond Festus, claims he is 49, parents passed away when he was young, raised by an uncle. He says he is in the Army on a peace keeping mission in Iraq, he says he is not supposed to talk on the phone and to not tell anyone as he could lose his job. This seemed kind of sketchy to me, but continued messaging to see how far it went. A few days into the messages, he claimed he loved me & wanted to marry me. I of course did not believe this. Three weeks texting, he sends me a picture of an injury supposedly he sustained on his left knee, a very big, deep,open gash. He then asked for $500 for surgery. I told him the Army should provide the care he required as he got hurt while on duty, what about his insurance?. I told him I did not have that amount he required. I even asked him if he was scamming me for money, of course he said no, he is not like that. He stopped asking for $500 but two weeks later asked me to get him a $50 amazon card to get service on his phone, I said what???? I of course told him I had no money to spend. He got upset, told me he knows I have money but just did not want to help him. His spelling & grammar is bad. He even asked me what currency we use in the states. If he claimed he lived in Florida, he should know what currency we use here in thee states, right? When I first started chatting with him, I tried to do a search on his name & picture, that is how I found out the profile picture was not the person I was talking to. He must think I am naive and a very desperate woman looking for love, which, by the way, I am not looking for love. Thank God I found these sites.

It's Nov 10, 2020.He contacted on FB, then our chat continued onto Hangouts. Oh, he can lay the sugar on thick. If you're looking at the photos, yeah, that's a nice fantasy. He loves me. He wants to provide me the financial backing to start a business. He wants to marry. With me, he's going by Noah Smith, working on a oil rig, off the shore of Scotland, raised by grandfather. Out Ohio. First he said he was on an oil rig near Texas. Oops! Slip up and I caught it. He's very smart and cunning. Play at your own risk. I knew he was a scam. He'll ask for Bitcoins. I didn't buy. He final approach was trying to get me to accept a box with $3mil. A security firm that is holding his money is closing and for $3500, I can get this mystery box of cash. First, his bank account gets hacked and it's frozen. Then he needs me to accept this box. He had the nerve to try these old Yahoo scams with me. I called him out. He's saying I broke his heart. I deleted him, but he still wants to go reactivate his FB account to do a live video to prove to me he is real.

You're absolutely right. I was wrong for "poking the bear" because now he threatening to send horrible stuff to all friends and family on Facebook for $1000. I took screenshots of the threats. I removed Hangouts from my phone. I'm sorry for doing so stupid as giving him a breath.
