I met Richard Miller on Facebook, he was using his own name on Gen. Steven W. Gilland's hijacked FB page. He only said on Messenger that he was deployed in Syria on a peacekeeping mission. I told him I was a widow and how old I was, and that I will keep him in my prayers. He said age was only a number and he was 65 and a widower. I saw no harm in two widowed people chatting about this and that, but slowly his messages started to become romantic which I always discouraged; at my age obviously I could not be any more in a romantic relationship. After ca. two weeks he proclaimed his love for me: "Don't tell me you don't want to feel loved one last time?" Fortunately at this juncture, before he asked me for money, I realized he was a scammer and told him politely the jig was up, but I forgave him and said good-bye. He got furious, his mask fell off and called me a fool, an a.. hole and a f.....g p...y. I was amazed how somebody could be so two-faced and so insulting. Well, you live and learn!

He could not have been an American soldier on peace keeping mission . I did tell him he was a scammer and block him
