Getting them to write your name on a piece of paper IS NOT ENOUGH. They work on laptops. DOING THIS IS EASY FOR THEM.
ASK ANY SOLDIER FOR HIS MILITARY EMAIL ADDRESS. IT ONLY ENDS IN .MIL... NOTHING ELSE. Not gmail or usa.com or ANYTHING ELSE. If he says he can't give it and you can't use it for security reasons IS WRONG.
SCAMMERS GET YOU ON KIK FOR A REASON... IT'S EASIER FOR THEM.
