    1. How unfair and very short sighted to think this. No the video chat you may think you had was not real... and why does a soldier need a Google play card. Scamming as himself he'd be arrested in a day.. THINK ABOUT IT AND DO NOT ACCUSE WRONGLY ... scamming is bad enough.. but for scammers not to even get the blame is unforgiveable.

  5. I've been contacted by a person with this image. Definitely with a foreign accent. Claiming to be a widowed soldier and father of a 5 year old girl who was supposed to be cared for by his nan in his home state of Texas. He says he's deployed to S Korea and doesn't have access to his monies in the states. He's repeatedly asked for monies via Bitcoin and Google cards for "credit" on his WhatsApp account. I always push back but have admittedly given monies in this past almost 3 months. For me he went by the name: Derrick Mabry. He said he was born in the US but taken back to Jamaica to be raised after his military father passed. He trolled me on IG where he had the name Lmilitary60 before disabling his account.

  7. Just wanted to say this dude is still going around FB trying to scam people. I knew immediately something was off...he sent a friend request twice. Had no other friends on his page and had 2 pictures of different men on his page. Of course I reverse google imaged his profile pic and came across this page lol. He got blocked immediately. Please be careful everyone!

  11. Well I have been talking to this person for the last 5 months & unfortunately he has gotten a lot of money from me. He went by the name John Mabry. He sent me a friend request on Facebook. He told me he was a widower, had one daughter, his parents were deceased, his wife was deceased, & he had no close friends. I should’ve known something was up then. He also told me he was a sergeant in the army living in Atlanta. He told me he was from Jamaica & he does have an accent. He also told me not to tell anyone we were dating. Shortly after claiming his daughter had a birthday & asking for an apple gift card, he told me he was being deployed but never told me where. Mind you he had said that he wanted me to be his woman & his wife two weeks after chatting. Once he supposedly got to the place he was deployed, he immediately started asking for money for all kind of stuff: food, water, cellphone, charger, supplies, processing paperwork, flight to take leave, COVID test & vaccine, etc. Now he’s saying that he’s been injured & needs surgery on his leg after her supposedly never made his flight to come see me. This dude is so sad & sick.

    1. these are African scammers stealing pictures and telling you stories. NO real man needs money.. (Mabry is married happily with a family). Love and marriage in 2 weeks.. would never happen in a real world. NO soldier needs money for ANYTHING and surgery! The Military takes care of everything. PLEASE get out of this scam and please don't get into any more. These AfriCANS WILL KEEP HOUNDING YOU... so block everywhere
