DeleteI had a man claiming to be in the US Army by the name of Dosier Scott using these pictures on Twitter. He private messaged me and we chatted for about a week before I realised something wasn't quite right & I closed my account
ReplyDeleteHe catfished me under the name Scott James. He claimed to be from Houston, TX and said he had been married for 14 years to a woman named Deborah Scott. And he said he had been a widower for three years, and that he was a father to a thirteen year old boy named Kelley Scott. He claimed to be a lieutenant colonel who worked for the UN in Syria in peacekeeping missions protecting civilians…when I asked where his son was, he said that he attended boarding school in Ontario, Canada. He got me to fall for all kinds of bs talking about how dangerous things were there, how he had lost two men this day and three another day, and he completely played on my emotions. I was way too vulnerable with him, and he knew my weak spots and how to appeal to my emotions. I’m so disgusted with myself for all the emails and sending him 1500 dollars…he had all sorts of reasons for that…these people are sick.
