Wow so glad I looked his photo up I knew this was too good to be true same guy currently talking to me!
Sent same pictures and everything except his name was Frank!
Told me he had an adopted son in Africa who needed money asked for my account info so he can transfer money for me to send to him!
I didn't of course! This page saved me!
Thanks a lot!!
THANK YOU FOR SENDING ME THIS PICTURE, ONE I DIDN'T HAVE..

My favourite kind of story... one where the scammer doesn't get paid.. here's to many more successes like this !

He uses email address  ernestkwk@gmail.com

''This guy has been talking to me on Facebook named Needham O'Neil. I haven't disclosed anything he can't already find on my fb. Says he adopted a son in Afghanistan that's currently in Ghana studying. He's in Syria. His wife and daughter were killed in a car accident 4 years ago.
What a complete asshole. I just sent him the pic, told him he was busted and said I'm sending this corespondance to the FBI.

Thank God a friend requested I do that. He is going to be blocked and I will make sure he won't do this again to my circle!!!!!

Anyone that claims to be our military and is false should be deployed to where they say they are from. With nothing but the clothes they wear.''

comment added.. thank you.. put here to make the email address searchable
''Said his name was Alex used alexanderneedham@gmail.com. Met him on Match. Sad stories about son, wife, mom, claimed he lived on base here in my city. But my first red flag was the time difference. He would email me 12-15 hours later. He would have no reason to be at work soingvtge job he claimed. He had all the perfect answers too. Something was shady right off the bat. Sweet charming smooth talker, but never asked for money or anything once I found this I cut off all contact he's never emailed again asking why. Thank God you have this. I hope no one here has given him money or fallen for his bullshit. Poor soldier whose pictures those really are....''

comment.. thank you

''He found me on Match, too, profile name: SexyZeus9099

But "his" name is Bill. I don't have a last name yet, nor do they have mine, thankfully.

Again, said he was Military, Staff Sergeant in the Army, on a short-term deployment to Sub Saharan Africa.

This person said they were permanently stationed in Indiana, had a son who lived full-time with Bill's mom in Ohio.

I called him out when I asked him what sports teams he liked, expecting to hear LSU, since he's wearing an LSU shirt in 2 pics, and a hat in 1.

But nope, didn't even mention it. Said his son was the fan. Couldn't talk on the phone, obviously. Broken english and strange phrasing. I let it go on for a week until I did a reverse image search on Google. Thank you Google!!! Crappy part is that now they have my phone number. ''

  • I have all sort of photos claiming he is Jeff Mike Needham. Even one where he is in the gym. Said he was in Syria. went on for about 1 week, than he asked for money. I said you should be sending me money! Told him I was talking to the FBI and reporting him.
The picture of him in the chopper is still on messenger and one is still on facebook.

    1. This man is same person I had talked on Facebook an Hang outs .He told me he was an sniper for the US ARMY. This man asked me for my personal information I lost it.. I blocked him . I detest people whom feel it is ok to take the names of those whom served our country, This wrong !! These people have no morals or feelings . They do not care whom they hurt as long as they can take what does not belong to them. These people need to be stopped!

    2. They pretend to be soldiers and they are not good enough to tie a soldiers boots. They are evil. I wish they could be stopped. Facebook, Google, other social media and dating sites do nothing to stop them. Their governments do nothing... until a lot changes they can continue to do this openly when and where they like... it is very very wrong.

      1. He is saying Military?? He is saying deployed, .... HE IS FAKE. Simple as that. I don't know how many times to say that it makes sense... the real military are NOT allowed to contact women and tell you where they are deployed or what they are doing. It is against ALL Army security.

      1. It's never 'a guy'. The way scammers work is that a team steals pictures and uses them. One of the team maybe Facebook, another Match, another somewhere else.
The pictures are out there and any other scammer can come along and use them.
It isn't him... it the use of him.

      1. I think that all the scammers should be forced to work a Boot Camp style prison sentence in their own army. Thing is.. their Police will do nothing. Ghana does not mind it's scammers and does nothing at all about them.. even though they could. Scamming is open with their own phone numbers used and names and addresses to get the money.. yet nothing is done.

Thank you for reporting it.. everyone should as it is under reported. I can't find the profile.. I will keep looking though.

      1. I've been trying to post an update. I met this guy recently on Match as Alexander Needham. He's still trying to scam people with similar stories as above. It's sad that people prey on people's emotions out of greed and tell lies to this degree out of greed. It's even sadder that they are stealing pictures of our soldiers that are fighting for our freedoms.

      2. I agree Denise and I'm sorry I have to have all comments have to be moderated.. you wouldn't believe all I have to delete that are left as comments.

It's awful, Yes they are stealing soldiers pictures and terrorist organisations are fund raising using the very men the money will go against.. and still the US Army and Government seems to be doing little or nothing !..
I wish I understood why the world wants to do nothing about scammers.

    17. He is still trying to scam. I met him on Match. It's terrible that someone would steal an actual soldier's picture and tell lies about his wife, son, and mother just to get money. People are crazy to play with others emotions because of greed. He was on there as Alexander Needham but I see that he has hidden his profile. He sent me some of these pictures and a few others.

      1. Block them.. this is never a 'him'... all profiles are a team. Yes.. terrible. Think of the evil that breeds humans to do this to others for money. Think also of the evil that does nothing about it ! Because there are whole countries policies that do nothing about scamming and that is evil in itself.

There are hundreds of scammers using the pictures .. this is how he is everywhere... we must educate women to check... even on a dating site... check. Always. Scammers are a big danger to dating sites... and really, these pictures are out there... surely their systems could stop them being used in the first place.

I pity the men who are used greatly... it's horrible and they have no choices in this... the evil that is scamming just uses them and the women.

      1. So glad you did an image search and if you call them out and ask them questions.. always give them wrong information back.. like saying LSU is Liverpool Soccer Club or something as stupid. They think they learn from every scam.. and so it helps to help educate them... so never give them the right info, have fun feeding them the wrong things !

    20. I also have had contact with a so called Gigg's Needham. Pretty close to same story. Except divorced with daughter who lives with mom. And son studying in Ghana. What a bunch of A-holes using service personnel for scams. I hope they track them down. But as for now their still at it.

      1. It does not matter if they track them down... the Nigerian police do nothing.. the EFCC think it is the woman's fault if she sends the money.. so it is ok for them to just keep on.

      2. Why cant our Government do something to stop them. Its against the law here, and should let their Government that if it doesn`t that we will come in and stop it ourselves. That cant just let them to continue to do this to people. Its devastating to many of the people getting robbed by these people. And can be very heart breaking. Take them down!

        Delete
      3. I think our Government should go in and stop them. Its against the law here to scam people. So if their nit wits are going to target us than we should stop them. If their government wants to allow it. Then tell them to stop targeting the USA. I think we should take them down.

        Delete
      4. It is devastating and they do not take the emotional part into consideration.

They don't only target the US, although they take their stolen pictures from there mainly. They target the whole world.

Women respond. This is the thing. If women did not respond they would have nobody would answer them and nobody to scam. We need to get women to KNOW. To look and say, OH this will be fake, and reject it.

Your Government does nothing and that is appalling. It lets down it's Military every day. All I see from them is advice, years old, about not falling for it.

They need to press the African governments involved. To the Africans it is the woman's fault because she sends the money. Not the African's fault for scamming her. It's a disgrace.

More should be done... and yet, you contact anyone.. and they never reply.
