  1. I met this man on Plenty of Fish in July 2020. He presented himself to be a man named Simon Capeloon Oghans, originally from Denmark, but living in Seattle for the last 20 years. He said he was a seismic engineer out on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico due to come home August 5th. He told me his date of birth was February 13th which made him an aquarius. Yet his Plenty of Fish profile says he's a Virgo. He used the phone number: 614-702-7401. After about two weeks of chatting he told me he was in love with me. Of course I didn't believe him. He told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, he wanted to start a nonprofit organization with me to help needy people, presented himself to be a man of God. He said he had a wife that had died three years previous, and has a 16 year old son named Caesar. He also said he had a Yorkie dog called Atlas. Then he started asking me for steam gift cards to buy phone minutes so we could continue to talk. His minutes were about to run out. Then he suggested that he could wire money up to $10,000 into my bank account. Then I could wire the money to wherever he told me to put it, to help him with errands. When I told him I would not have anything to do with gift cards or money transfers he accused me of not caring about him, of not being the one he thought I was, that I was not willing to help him so I didn't love him. That if I truly cared I would do this for him. When I told him no that was the end of our relationship. I've reported him to Plenty of Fish, and after looking up his picture up on scamhaters I find out this picture has been stolen off of a MySpace account. I'm glad I found all this information because it reaffirms what my senses were telling me. He was starting to make me second-guess myself, but I see now that I was right all along. If you have run into him in the past or you run into him in the future, please feel free to email me at: karekat319@gmail.com
