LOOK AT THE PROFILE.. A SOLDIER, YET NO FAMILY OR FRIENDS, NOTHING PERSONAL.. NO COMMENTS... NO SHARING.. JUST GATHERING WOMEN TO SCAM.
ALWAYS GOOGLE IMAGES. Or you can use TINEYE. There are other apps you can get for mobiles.. Free Apps. This can be your best friend. It can be the difference between being scammed and not.

I was contacted on Instagram by this guy. His name this time is David using profile @d_man080
ReplyDeleteHe says his name is David Cory Bristol, a marine from NJ leaving in NY. We have been talking for only a week but although I had early suspicions, these people know how to manipulate everything to make you change your mind. Ladies beware! He only follows women. They dont want to share much information about where they are, their details are always incomplete, there is always something missing. His last name is not on his profile so when I asked and started my researched is when I discovered all this scams. Below are the profiles he uses from Instagram and Facebook

Here's the latest like the scammers are using with Cory's stolen pictures. https://www.instagram.com/major_lawrence_bristol/ I didn't go looking for him on Facebook. I was suspicious from the start. I'm always suspicious when a handsome fella contacts me and seems just a little to friendly, no matter which social media it is. I was just wondering how long it would take before he got to the actual scam part. I didn't have long to wait. On a whim I did a google image search for one of the pictures he had sent me and found this site. Thanks for getting this site set up to help bring these jerks down. It's a never ending battle.

Didn't take the scammer long to make a 'new' profile using a similar name, and one of the same pictures from the one that was removed. I've not accepted his message request. Though I am tempted to just to mess with the person. I did forget to mention that the build up to the scam with the previous profile was that he wanted to invest in one or more of my projects. DeleteHe's now using "Jasper Bristol" claims to have an ex- named Jessica and a dog named Whiskey. Also says he's about to be Promoted to Master Sargent in the USMC.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure he's a scammer. His first several messages are word for word what someone else sent me last week. The second and third messages in both cases identical except for the name. 'Am Hernandez from Florida but currently in Kabul and you ?.' 'I'm a mechanical engineer in the US army. Have you date or talk to any army personnel before ?.'
