Now at this point other women who had been asked for money were contacting each other telling them.

This is what happens when you get involved with scammers.. they use people all over the world who allow their Bank Accounts to be used in their crimes.
This woman will get the money and send it on somewhere else.. money laundering. There is no law for them..but there is for others and this account will be reported as being used in crime.
