So.. you are in love with a good looking Engineer ?? REALLY?

So.. you are in love with a good looking Engineer ?? REALLY?

So.. you are in love with a good looking Engineer ?? REALLY?
So.. you are in love with a good looking Engineer ?? REALLY?
The internet is flooded with them... HANDSOME ENGINEERS !
They may have contacted you with a ‘Hello beautiful’..’Hello Pretty’... ‘was just browsing and decided to send you are request, am so taken by your beauty’... YEAH RIGHT !! When was the last time you did that to anyone?? Or any man you know randomly contacted a woman because he liked the look of her?? I THINK NEVER ! Only fakes do it.
SO HE IS ON AN OIL RIG.. HOW CAN HE PROVE HE IS REAL.. well, he will say he is in the office and all oil rigs has an office. GET A LETTER HEADED PIECE OF PAPER AND DRAW ON IT. Draw a dog on a piece of paper ! THEN TAKE A SELFIE AND SEND.
Not too hard if he is real. If he is in a hotel, in all rooms there is letter headed paper, menus, leaflets, in ALL hotel rooms..you need a picture with one of those.
‘On a Contract’.. ‘On an oil rig ‘ !! ‘Am Marine Engineer’ ‘Am Private Contractor’ .... so many jobs they have no idea what they mean. He may work in one place. Then he has to travel to work. Or he is already there. Turkey, Manchester UK, Offshore somewhere, Africa (of course).
The Fake Engineer scam usually has lots of documents and certificates with it. A contract with a large amount of money to let you see he is going to get well paid is common.
The demands for money are often bigger here. A part breaks on the oil rig and he has to order it ! (NEVER HAPPENS, AN OIL RIG IS A WELL RUN MACHINE, THE COMPANY ORDERS AND REPAIRS PARTS.. not one man). This demand for money can be a very large one. THE PARTS CAN GET STUCK IN CUSTOMS AFTER BEING PAID FOR AND YOU WILL BE ASKED TO COVER THIS.
ALSO A COMMON DEMAND IS THE HOTEL BILL IF HE IS WORKING IN A TOWN OR CITY. He hasn’t paid taxes, he won’t be able to leave the country, he hasn’t the money for a flight. HE IS ARRESTED.. this can be for many reasons. !!
MEDICAL BILLS.. ALL workers working overseas legally are covered by INSURANCE. They do NOT have to wait to get money from anyone before or for treatment.
IF A NATIONAL HAS A PROBLEM IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY THEY GO TO THE EMBASSY OF THEIR COUNTRY. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENS AND ALSO THEY HAVE THEIR BANKING FACILITIES AND CARDS WORKING IN WHATEVER COUNTRY THEY ARE IN. ... does not matter what they tell you. They NEVER need money from a woman they do not know.)IF THEY WANT TO SEND THEIR SON, LITTLE KELVIN, A PRESENT AT HIS BOARDING SCHOOL IN AFRICA, AND HE CAN TEXT YOU, HE HAS ACCESS TO HIS MONEY. Online banking works everywhere and they have full access to money anywhere. )
NEVER SEND MONEY TO ANYONE YOU HAVE NEVER MET. YOU CAN’T BUY LOVE AND AT THE FIRST SIGN OF ASKING FOR MONEY... LEARN TO BLOCK THEM. IT WILL NOT GET ANY BETTER.
HE WANTS MONEY?????.. IT’S A FAKE PROFILE. . LEARN TO SAY NO.... IT’S EASY AND KEEPS YOU SAFE

His name Micheal Brian ( fake name ) claiming he is currently working in ESSON MOBIL OIL as contractor in QATAR OIL RIG, He stole somebody's ID his Name is HAKAN CELIK he is a handsomne CNN TURK TV Jurnalist and Presenter also Traveller. unfortunately he has already scammed me about £ 7000 he is still in contact with me.I met him in INSTAGRAM he has closed his accaunt. He sent me a fake bank account statement ($ 2.5 million), as a beneficiary to withdraw £200,000 I need to pay £5000 for him to see me and his crew to see their families in xmas 2019 but of course never taken place he said there was a problem with his bank. £ 2000 was for steam cards he said for data for his phone, then in february he said desperately want to meet me and get married and wanted to terminate his contract earlier, again i had to send an email to his company ( fake email and copy right website) to say i need him to be home early and I had to pay US $ 40.000 and still naive me i manage to raise loan money £10.300, this time God was with me, i sent money to his so called AGENT but luckily he could not withdraw his money. his bank held the money suspected scam. MY money was returned few weeks later to me after i was scrutinised by the scam team. He is still keep in touch with me and keep asking about the money and I said the money has not been returned by my bank yet.And he still asking me to apply for more loan. Now I know he is a scammer from reverse image of course i won't give him any penny. And of course he doesn't know that I has already knew who he really is.
My question is how to tell him because i am sure police won't do anything even the scam team, and I am sure he is still working on to other naive women who are naive just like I was.
But my God is Just God and he is always in my prayer and I believe Gods wrath and panishment will be on him, specially he claimed as a christian.

  1. I was recently contacted by someone on OUR TIME dating site saying he was an engineer, 61 years old, widowed, originally from Switzerland. He sent pics and as we talked sent very topic appropriate pics. I asked him if he was a good skier and he sent a pic of him skiing. I did a google image search of the pics and turns out the pics come from a TR Pescod's (model, of course) instagram.

He also sent documents showing a contract he was getting ready to do in Italy. He was going to China and then Italy to do this work. Communication drastically slowed down once he left for China (allegedly) and I started to question his validity. I questioned him and he was "frustrated" that I would question him when he's working so hard to "build a life for us". I let it go for a few days and then did the google image searches.

We video chatted thru Hangouts and although the screen kept freezing, I didn't suspect anything weird. How does that work? Obviously you can fake that too!!

Here's the information I have on him:
    Name: James Killian Mathias
    Age: 61
Lives in Stuart FL - 157 SW Otter Run Place
    Name of Company: Surge Constructions
    Website to company: http://www.surgeconstructions.com
Marital Status: widower for 5 years
Children: 1 adopted son living with his parents in Switzerland
    Phone # - 772 218 7730

He never asked for money and I was clear I had none. He wanted me to get a pre-paid VISA card so he could have some money from his "Job" put on there. I got it and sent him direct deposit information. He wanted the money from his job to go on the card so he could buy phones for kids in an orphanage. I thought maybe he was avoiding taxes. He never used the money on the card.

I want this person exposed. I don't know what his angle was with me because I had nothing to give. I am also still perplexed on the video chat. There were definitely red flags I should have paid attention to before I did.

    Live and learn!!

Thanks for your work on this site.

    1. First thing Cindy you were used for money laundering. Someone who will accept money and get them a card is worth a lot of money. Ok it's good when they get money, but they have to have somewhere to send it. Thing is that they will have told other women they are scamming that they send the money to you and to the information that you gave so if any part of that is registered in your name and has your name attached you have to cancel it and do something.
The video chats.. they aren't really. You see a man on the video. It is not a man,sat in front of a camera, you talking and him answering. It's then playing a video on a laptop, pointing a phone at it and you believe it's live and real. It keeps freezing, it is a bad reception ! it's never quite right !
So it is him here... I will prepare a post and put everything that you have told me here.
Thanks for all the information,it really does help.

    2. Sorry I don't know where to contact you. I can't figure this site out--mostly because I'm overwhelmed and confused at this point having been a victim of a marine engineer. Mine was Gray Morrison who was 48-year-old engineer for Maersk Drilling. He originally contacted me via Words With Friends. Then we moved to Hangouts. I sent him a few iTunes cards because I'm an idiot. I have several pictures he sent to me. Many of them include a small girl who was allegedly his almost eight-year-daughter Irene. He is allegedly stranded in London right now because I won't give $4,500 to fly home first class. LOL He sent me a fake printed plane ticket, along with a driver's license with an address. He also thinks that I sent an iPhone to his associate Stanley Ogiobe in Nigeria. Stanley was supposed to relieve him on his rig (Maersk Guardian) but never made it before he left. I did not send the phone, but I have that address as well. I thought about mailing him a large box of glitter or dog poop in the phone box from a fake address here just to make myself feel better.

    3. Scamhatersunited@gmail.com is the email address to send anything to ! Glad he didn't actually get the phone ! No real engineer would have even needed itunes cards !

  4. I've just been "friended" on Facebook by a Mr. Simon Taylor, who claims to be a civil engineer, originally from Switzerland. He says he's 57 years old. I might be able to post a photo here later on from home, if I can learn how, ha-ha. Anyway the alleged "Mr. Taylor" doesn't seem to know a great deal about civil engineering. My ex husband was a surveyor for a civil-engineering company, and my ex-brother-in-law is a retired civil engineer. I also did temporary secretarial jobs at a couple of civil-engineering firms myself!

I asked "Simon" if he used CAD. He said no. CAD is software for Computer-Aided-Design. Pretty much EVERY civil engineer on earth uses CAD software.

"Taylor" isn't a German-Swiss surname, either. In addition, "Simon's" broken English seems very Nigerian. Watch out, ladies. When he friends you on FB, he starts calling you "dear" right away.

    1. You have no chance of him being real and nobody who is on an oil rig 'has a problem with his phone'.
Oil riggers work around 2 - 4 weeks on then a rest period away from the rig. A scammer thinks they are o there al the time.
Rigs have names. scammers don't know that.
The wife running off with the money is common.. just wait until something breaks and he needs a lot of money to fix it that you have to send to him ! Then you will know but you are in the middle of one of the most common scams they do.

And is that his picture? I have several pictures and I suspected from the beginning something was off. He moved me to hangouts too. Does that mean we should not go to Hangouts? I pray that this person is exposed deleted chastised. I take risks but I did not know about the scam haters. Thank you! He asked for $6000 to pay taxes because he could not access his millions...Clue #1 and then Visa cards Clue #2 and $800 for good for orphans who live in his 2 bedroom condo in New Jersey. Clue#3. 8. MARK BROOKLYN14: I was recently contacted on InstaGram by a handsome "Marine Engineer". I did not believe his story when I detected non-english texts, etc. He keeps pushing me to go to Google Hangout, which I refused to. Told me he was married to Rena Doty Fraser, and when I looked on Google, I found this page. Knew he was lying!!! He sent me a copy of his "drivers license" which I knew was fake (and disappeared from the IG feed). I cannot figure out how to find the URL on the photos to do an image search, but know this is a scam. Oh year - he got mad and refused when I asked him to write Hi and my name on a piece of paper and put it on the IG feed. My main concern is him taking my likeness (or my minor child) and using it on IG or other social media???!!!

  9. Hello,

I've been contacted over Words for Friends by a man with the name Eddy Vincent Martinez, living in HOUMA/LOUISIANA - 50years old with an 8 year old son.
Very quick he asked to move to Hangouts. He send me pictures (one of them I found reported on this site) another with a little boy.
Of course there were promisses of him coming to visit me, being the love of his life.
Contractor engineer and according to his story he was on an oil rig in Costa Rica were and accident occured and with a fatal victim.
The family of that victim made him arrest by the police and they threatened to be violent of he didn't pay 30 000dollar. He would get his passport back when that money was paid.
The story was well build. He send me a film of an accident on an oil rig and the timings seemed Always correct.
Even when I confronted him with the picture he send me, also found on this side. He had a good story to explain.

He asked me for money and needed to send this to following account:

    SWift code: SNTRUS3A
    Account Name: Timothy Lotter
    Account Number: 1000241552941
    Routing Number: 061000104
    Address: 921 Westmoreland Cir. NW
    Atlanta, GA 30318

    2 mail addresses were used:
    eddiev400@gmail.com
    vincentmartinez260@gmail.com

I even received an email from requiring for a loan for this situation, with address and Phone number in it

Hey baby the purpose of this message is to plead for a loan to assist me to compensate and pay for the funeral to the family of one of my worker who lost his life in the field and i will pay back immediately i get back after collecting my passport from the police thank you. my phone number and address are

    +13183212862 7188 highway Coushatta 71091-9632 Lousiana

I also have been in contact with him over his tel number.
We had a video call over Hangouts but with problems on the line and no sound. I red that this also a common used trick in this kind of scams.

For one strange reason these person are willing to share a lot of information, so I think there is no possibility in catching them.
I didn't send any money and I suppose the contact will probably stop when he feels he won't get what he wants.

  17. I've had so many people try and scam me via Words with Friends. I didn't realise a seemingly innocent word game was made up mostly of scammers. It's taken me 2 years of playing to be fed up and hurt by what they are trying to do. They all have similar stories, often then are engineers or working on an oil rig. They are usually widowed with one child in the care of relative. They usually want me to move to WhatsApp or hangouts and want explicit photos, money or try and sell me Bitcoin. When I don't agree the immediately block me, but not long later a new game is started by a stranger. I feel like I'm being harassed by these people. My settings on words with friends are set to private, so unless you know my username, No one can start a game with me. Yet games are started regardless, which makes me suspect that a particular scammer is trying to get to me. I'm not sure the purpose of my post here. I'm just deeply hurt and can no longer trust anyone. Please be aware that even seemingly innocent games like Words With Friends has vast quantities of scammers. Please block anyone immediately and don't engage in chat If it seems overly friendly from a stranger. I've been in a bad place myself and deeply depressed. These people take advantage of that. Don't chat to anyone you don't know in real life. No matter how genuine ther seem. It's all fake and cleverly manipulated.

  18. I was befriended on Instagram by an engineer working on an oil rig off the Falkland Islands. He claims he was from Georgia/US. Had grown up in an orphanage where he met the mother of his two children, who later developed a drug habit and left him and the kids. He will send pics of "himself" and "His kids" and pushes for a relationship because he is looking for a mother for his children. He runs under the name Ben Charles https://www.instagram.com/benchrles/
Unfortunately for him, in a few of the pics he sent, he was wearing clothing that belongs to an small local cricket club in Sydney / Australia and also has well known Australian scenic places, so his story wasn't adding up from early on and I ended up messaging all the women on his profile and let them know the profile was run by several Nigerian males which really pissed poor "Ben" off and he deleted the original profile. But the guys aren't that smart, because they make new profiles, and keep the same name....

He was very lovely and attentive to start with but then started to blackmail me and emotionally blackmail me... unfortunately I was vulnerable at the time and I sent money to amber lansaw... I just wished there was someone who could have raised more awareness of this kind of thing before now... but I guess unless you know to look it's not broadly known!! He told me due to how I made him feel he wasn't concentrating and he got shot, he sent pictures of his wounds, he would phone me every day and he did one video call but it was so dark I couldn't make him out, just the whites of his eyes... I feel like such a gullible fool when I reflect on it, but I realise that I was too trusting, but I blocked him as soon as I figured it out... I hope this helps someone.

      A VIDEO CHAT
Them sat full in front of the camera, as you are. They can answer your questions. Their mouth moves exactly to the words being said.
A scammer's trick is to play a video on a laptop and point a phone at it. You think it's real as you see someone moving.
They claim bad reception, bad line, not clear, no sound !
NEVER BELIEVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A FULL VIDEO CHAT YOU WOULD HAVE WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW..
THE VIDEO CHAT IS A SCAMMER TRICK

    1. There is no 'he' there is only 'they'.
As he actually doesn't speak English in real life and is married he has nothing to do with this. There are literally hundreds of scammers using him and they place him all around the world.
Scams are similar because scammers buy 'formats'... scripts and manuals.

Over the years hundreds maybe thousands of different scammers have used him, and different names.
You are wrong accusing 'him and his girlfriend'....

    2. The misused pictures of the innocent man and his wife has been sent around the globe for years by scammers indeed. The sharing is not about the real couple. It is a sharing about how the scammers builds up a story and re-using it year after year. The story gets copied and shared further. Here even the same alias name with the same e-mail address ..just add one number up! How they set up life scenarios. . playing GF & BF .. all of us to be part of a pretended family facing life problems.

  21. I came into contacy with the scammer Jose Carlos. He says his name is David Oliver from Canada working as a Enginer on a oil rig in the African coast. The pictures he showed me look just like Jose Carlos. He said that the ones I showed him were the ones that were taken from him and used by the Scammer. That he is not the scammer. He has never asked for money. That he does have a life savings. In a security company. That he will be retiring soon. But he needs to send the savings to me as its not safe for it in security. He will pay for the money to be sent to me.Then when he is ready for retirement. Then he will retrieve the life savings here wth me.And we will live comfortably for the rest of our lives. It makes me wonder what is really true? is he the man I saw online and talked to.Or is he the scammer? Please let me know what you think.

    1. Jose Carlos is NOT the scammer.
They always say they are the real ones and the pictures are stolen.
jose Carlos is a gay man happily in a relationship with his husband in Brazil and he talks.. BRAZILIAN
The oil rig scam is famous.. please research.
These savings.. now would a man you have never met send you all his money.. and how is he saying he has it.. in a box ?? NO.. in the bank. then he would not be sending it to a woman he has never met.
There is SO MUCH online about Jose Carlos being used.. SO MUCH about anyone who says oil rig is fake and fake packages.. YOU ARE BEING SCAMMED.

STOP SENDING MONEY.. DO NOT PAY TO ACCEPT A PACKAGE AND GET AWAY FROM THE AFRICANS SCAMMING YOU

  22. My scammer, Anderson Ford, responded to my profile on Plenty of Fish. He was a oil engineer from Berlin working for Shell Oil. He originally said he was in Richmond, Virginia. He was so sweet and kind...very catholic, 9 years younger, Cambridge education, widower with a beautiful daughter. He quickly became so much of life...loving, laughter, sweet words, interested in everything about me.... The first decision WE made was for him to go to Nigeria to consult on some oil business rather than going to Texas because he said it would be a shorter time period and he was anxious to get to me. First money request was for a computer (very specific details) to replace his that had been damaged on the way to Nigeria. I ran off to Best Buy....spent over $3,000 and then over $700 in shipping. I so understood that he had rushed off without many funds...and that the technology wasn't available in Nigeria. I have many detailed stories of our "love affair"...... I've written a short book about the whole sordid mess...gets much worse and involves me being hospitalized. I would love to share it via this site or in a podcast. I've listened to a few of the ones that are on air...I think reading from my writing would be compelling. The more we make the experience REAL to others maybe, just maybe we can stop the pain for a few. Please advise me on how I could share my experience.

  24. I have been contacted two days ago via Twitter by @AlexmarkDonald1 who says his name is James Haley but on Hangouts he is James Harley (who doesn't know how to spell his last name?). He says he is an oil engineer working on a Maersk platform on the Quatar sea. He has a daughter called Tracy. His wife died on a car accident and her family kidnapped Tracy so he went to USA to save her and now he is paying a boarding school in Dubai and a teacher who takes care of her. He says he is from Canada and he was adopted. There were red flags from the beggining. The part that he says you are the only one, that he is looking for a wife to raise her child and be his lover eternally. He is retiring soon and he will dedicate to investments. He is 56 years old. When I started to suspect he said that I was trying to hide him something (that's the typical manipulative maneuver) I googled one of the photos he sent me and found out that the real person is Stephen Niese, model and actor (poor guy!!!!) I'm not a native english speaker but there were expressions or spelling he used that signaled that he was not a native english speaker either. He instantly starts to talk to you using the word "dear" and asks as much information as he can (favourite color, food you like, religion, if you have tatoos, what kind of music you like) so he then develops a narrative with all that information that fascinates you. Oh! and the biggest red flag was that I told him that my favourite band was The Police and I loved Sting and he didn't know who they where!!!! it's like you didn't know The Beatles!!! When I found out the other photos of the model I started to send him a few and he asked me where did I found those pictures. I said to him "they are all over the internet. You're famous!" and he said "thank you". WTF???? I tought about going along and playing him a little but I am fearful that he may hunt me through the internet so I will just block him.
Hope this is useful! Please, take care, don't bealive everything you see online. There are really bad people there. Don't give personal information. When it's too good to be true, please, distrust. Take care of yourelfs!

Block him ! just block, he is an African liar, she does not need the courtesy of you telling you he is fake, he knows he is.
These are criminal gangs. They will be working a hundred women at once. We are here in the hope as many as possible search and find and don't pay them. This is organised crime, this is theft on a very grand scale using love words.
BLOCK... DON'T SAY A WORD AND BE IN CONTROL... he has been in control in this scam. Time you were.

  29. Lady's...I know from personal experience that these guys will lie to you until the day that you stop writing them. Each and every word that come's out of their mouth's are nothing but calculated lie's. I know that this is not something that you want to hear. I didn't want to believe it or hear it either. When I finally figured out that I was being lied to... it was too late. I had fallen head over heel's for him. I asked him to tell me the truth... whatever it was. He promptly told me that he wasn't lying and that he loved me so much that he never would hurt me or lie to me. He told me that he loved me with all of his mind, heart and soul. That I was the one who made his heart beat. I was his reason for living. That we were destined to be together after his wife died of a rare form of cancer. He even had his so called daughter writing me. I started to love her... because I loved him and she was simply a part of him. When I figured out that everything he told me was a lie... I stopped writing him. We didn't speak for three days. On the fourth day... he wrote and told me that he loved me so much and that he would do anything I asked if I would simply let him prove that he was the real Alex... that I had fallen in love with. I agreed... and after an hour... he sent me a picture that was photo shopped. In it... he held up a white sheet of paper that said he loved me... it even had my name on it. It also said, "Now will you believe it's me..." I admit that he had me again. The next time that we texted... it went well. Then... the next two text messages... the one at lunch time and the one "after work"... came through as if i were speaking with someone else. Intuitively... I knew it wasn't Alex. I just knew in my heart that it wasn't him. This morning... he text me again. This time I didn't reply. It was so hard to not respond. I made up my mind that I've been a fool long enough. This was so emotionally draining and that's putting it mildly. You just don't stop loving someone overnight. But being lied to for several weeks hurts even more. That's why I decided that I'd given him too many chance's to tell me the truth... whatever it was. He choose not to... even though he promised he would never lie to me. For what it's worth... please protect your heart and money from these liar's, these thieve's. They will do nothing but break your heart and leave trying to pick up the piece's of your heart and put it back together again. If there is such a thing as ... sin.. these men are doing it. They are heartless. They have black heart's ... if they even have a heart. Please save yourself. Please read the information that other women have gone through and protect yourself and force yourself if you have to ... to walk away and never speak to them again! I hope this letter helps someone. I really do.

    1. Thank you and I wish we could shout this from the rooftops.

African scammers LIE.. it is in their blood and in their DNA.. they lie.. they would shoot you in the head and lie if it meant they got cash out of it.

You are doing the right thing, they will test your response. They look for attention. Even telling them to go away means they still have you... SO.. now you are in control not some evil, cruel thief.
YOU... and you control your life and not them

I am sorry they found you, nobody in the world deserves to be a victim of the sort of evil these bring.
Truly the work of the devil wrapped in words praising God. It is the most hideous crime in the world perpetrated by the most wicked people in the world.
