This one gets you to accept his Bitcoin transactions and pay bills with them. Of course as usual something on the rig breaks and he has to pay for it (standard African oil rig scammer stories)

~~
Stolen the photographs of an actual engineer to get money and money laundering services from women.
💔 NEVER ACCEPT A FRIEND OR FOLLOW REQUEST FROM A STRANGER
~
👎NEVER SEND ANYTHING TO ANYONE YOU HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON. NEVER SEND ANYTHING TO ANYONE WHO CLAIMS MILITARY, OIL RIG OR CONTRACTOR OVERSEAS. IT WILL ALWAYS BE A SCAM
~
👿You are not talking to the person here.. you are talking to a criminal on a laptop
~
👍ALWAYS DO A REVERSE IMAGE SEARCH. THERE IS GOOGLE, TINEYE AND ON A COMPUTER, YANDEX IS BEST. .There are free APPS for phones.

  1. Met this guy on Facebook dating site. Said he is working on a drilling rig off the coast of Greece. Fell "in love" almost immediately with me. Talked for about 10 days and he was madly "in love with my soul". Today he is asking for $5000.00 to help him finish up on the rig and get home to me lol. Is now using guilt tactics to get me to send the money. Asshat! Don't fall for this... I have been suspicious for a week now waiting for request to appear. I was not surprised.

    1. Did you ever speak to this guy on the phone? Did he swear in God's name that he was being truthful and that he would pay you back immediately when he was paid with interest? The reason I am asking is I have encountered a guy by the same name but a different tactic from another dating site.

    2. But you have never spoken to him on the phone !
You have spoken to some African criminals using his pictures... love words for money. Every word a lie.
NO man on a rig... no need for money... can promise to pay you back... IT IS LIES.

ANYONE WHO ASKS FOR MONEY IS A SCAMMER AND THESE PICTURES ARE USED EVERYWHERE.

ANYONE that claims to be on an oil rig is never real.
They do not do it. Real men do NOT go looking on social media to contact women.
Every time someone says they are Marine Engineer or on a rig , it is a scammer from
      West Africa with love words.
NEVER AGREE TO GO TO HANGOUTS,WHATSAPP OR ANY OTHER CHAT APP.
They WILL ask for cards and/ or cash
      NEVER SEND
