Just wanted to warn everybody for a scammer who goes with the name of Jonas Eckard. He has a different approach then most no oil rig, no military and no grammar errors ! So seemed legit ! Stories seem to fit, weather, timing all was correct. Claims to live in CT USA but uses pictures of a well known Australian journalist. He took his time reeling me in. Even used his mum having cancer .... When he asked for money I refused and eventually stopped communicating. I reported him but his profile is still on all socials ... they simply don't trow him of even when he's a fake using someone else's pictures !!! Beware ! He's very good at what he does !
Been talking to a James Martino. His pictures are of Rick Dancer. I have two of them an I know they both are a scam. One is in Denmark needing money to fly back to the states another was in a car wreck an sent to India for surgery who claims to be Rick Dancers cousin. They both ask for money an always have excuses not to be able to come to the US after I gave them funds to help. Be aware they are very smooth talkers

After 3 months he asked me for money, didn;t sent him money and of course it ended. Checked out some things after the money asking and fake bank, fake pictures of an Australian ... to good to be true turned out a fake fantasy. I didn't loose money but I did loose trust (again) and a lot of hearteache

This guy is a supposed widower with a 17 yr old girl in a boarding school in the states while he is working on an oil rig in the UK. He says he is originally from California. He goes by the name Andy Underwood. He originally approached me on TikTok. He has sent me several pictures of himself and also one of him and his daughter. All of the pics seem possibly AI generated. This is really scaring me now.
It is impossible to post every person used by scammers. There are many thousands. The picture is just part of the puzzle as to if this is a scam. DO NOT RESPOND TO STRANGERS ! So simple. NEVER SEND MONEY.... that would stop scams.
