I searched for his picture and found out this Winther person is fake. I have already reported him to LinkedIn, but I thought it was a good idea to let you know that this despicable person is creating fake profiles everywhere. Regards :)

Had a work injury, separation, lost everything cause disability, child high school graduation, and was abuse by my care taker, mother from surgery to hospice, mothers death, relocation, life in a different time country then back to the states. Plus more all in these 2 years. I asked yesterday, why have you done this... response, what you want me to say.... in a way it was an experience, but who ever this person was, got me through so much, and was there in the phone at the time of my mom's death with a prayer. ReplyDeleteIt is never just one 'despicable person' Susana. There are many thousands of scammers and they use whatever pictures are out there. In Africa scamming is accepted and easy. This is where it comes from.

ReplyDeleteJust be careful of what you send. They will use it as their material to scam with and if he hadn't seen those videos before they are useful, even if they just use screenshots as new pictures that can't be picked up on image searches.

DeleteHello I have been scammed by a man calling himself Micheal Tyler using some of these photos. He sent me a friend request on Facebook then within a few days was texting me on Google Hangouts.

He first told me he is an oil engineer working in New Zealand and it started with him needing money for his daughter who was on a school trip in Ghana and he couldn't and he couldn't access his bank back in Dallas Texas.
It went on to needing money for legal fees for a money transfer so he could buy equipment.
I got promises of marriage, happiness and a much longed for family.
I am a widow and he has played me like a fool.
He is still in contact with me now via email and Hangouts.
I wish there was a way of helping to catch this man he is cruel.
If they try to get you to go to Hangouts.. never do. They are always fake.

Sadly cruelty is immoral and heartless but it isn't a crime and that is the big problem. They lie, they ask for money, you give it. That is not theft.
There is no way of catching an evil liar scammer.
Block him and as I say, get rid of Hangouts.
Which email provider does he use. I have contacts for most of them to report his email address and they are very good as suspending them.

DeleteHe's now operating under the name Blake Wilson, a surgeon working for the UN. The story about wife and child very simular. Works now in Kabul and his son is in Nigeria. The scammer Blake is also in Nigeria, checked by his IP address, so most likely it's on of the world famous 419 scams. Happy I did the revers image check and landed here, hope lot's of people do this and post here to keep his current names up-to-date and everybody who is googling finds this blog. From the beginning I wrote everything down. Claims wife, brother and 6 month old son died in a car accident. He is from OK, born and raised and educated. searched various places and no record of his birth, kids birth or wife ,or baby and brothers death. very broken english, wanted me to leave my husband and we were going to travel the world together. Today I found out how to do the reverse search which put the nail in the coffin so to speak.

Someone also using Steven G. Jones is now scamming my depressingly lonely mother in law. He is now using the name david warren, email is davidwarren088@gmail.com, instagram is of the same email. The twist is my mother-in-law knows he's a scammer and is just lonely, such a weird situation, super unhealthy, but I'm scared she'll end up just emptying her already dwindling bank account. Me and my wife warned her, showed her all these scam pictures, I mean the profile picture he's using has the freaking scamhatersutd watermark on it and she still refuses to stop communicating with whoever is on the other end of this scam. Please help by taking this/these asshole down

We talk on whatsapp. Almost the same story that someone said.
He said he is from Germany also he is a Petroleum engineer in Scotland, UK. Said his wife died 8 yrs ago and he had an 11 yr old daughter. Said he is the only child of his deceased parents. His whatsapp is a business account - +1 (972) 472 1282 as I looked this number is from Texas.

Hi this SCAMMER is still doing his rounds, he us using the name Jefferson Ronan on Instagram, saying he is from Brownsville Texas and was born in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteHe tried to convince he loved me he asked loads of stuff about me sent lots of love songs poems and would message me alot. He told me he worked for a Cargo company and he had just had a big deal and would travel to cambodia to do a drop off which would take 2 weeks but he could still talk to me. 1 week later he messages asking for help for money for his daughter as she was in boarding school as he is a single dad and he cant transfer money while at sea yet he could message me. She needed for an excursion at school or she wouldn't make next grade. Convinced me the bank would detect fraud if he used his card. Anyways he said he will fly straight from there to UK to come see me, once his cargo has been dropped off. Next he uses an excuse Customs has stopped him amd want $30.000, so he yet again asks for help, asking me to transfer some money via western union, which that much was a no go. Then he comes with me with a new story saying he is owed $200.000 from Italy off a drop off his old job and tried to tell me they will send it to my house as he is not in America ro receive it. He then tells me because he cant use his card i need to pay shipping fee, no chance. He then tells me his friend will help, tells me to email the cargo company and say Mr Jefferson has giving me permission to be his beneficiary. This cargo company gives me tracking details and tells me his package is now in Spain and needs £300 to be delivered. Really im so glad in not stupid to fall for this person. I tell him no customs will let money through as its legal tender. Then i think this is just nof right, none of this ads up so i google image his photos and turns out there photos of Steve G Jones. What i dont understand is he actually video called me with his daughter in background and he even spoke im so confused to who on earth i have been speaking to and why people can do that. I have a tracking code and everything for some package but no idea whats in it or if thats even legit as its still in customs. Really im so vonfused right now and i see im not the only one
There are HUNDREDS of scammers use Dr Jones ! not always the same one.
DeleteThe video calls.. only a true video call where he is sat straight in front of the camera and you talking and him answering.. lips moving to the words is real. They can play you video which is as easy to steal as pictures.
If he is on the sea his daughter would not be in the background... they have just played you a video.. there are plenty around of Steve Jones to do this.

A man tried to scam me by using the name Alex Jacob with Dr Jones pictures. I fortunately had internal redflags after many long emails and texting that seemed desperate, and full of flowery words from a met I didn't know. he used the email address jacobsfieldmarine@gmail.com, i deleted the cell phone number before I found this site unfortunately but was a sanfrancisco number. last contact was june 22, 2019 He sent a picture of dr. jones leaving the airport and one already published on this blog. He claimed he worked on a oil rig in the gulf of Mexico, He side stepped direct questions. we met on Plenty of fish dating site. he wasn't able to suck me in but I can see where someone else might, his last words were I hate you I hate you I hope you die. I hope this somehow helps

DeleteA man with the name Andre Jose Steve contact with me on Twitter. He said he was a marine engineer from Wichita Falls and he was going to transfer a ship from Poland to Liberia. He was lost his wife 5 years ago by breast cancer and he has a son in internal school. He uses Dr. Jones photos and he was message me a lot trying to convince me that he is fully inlove with me and he wants to retire and come and stay with me. He asked me to send a luggage to my address because he was still at the sea, he had value staff and he was afraid for their security. He sent the luggage (I don't know if he really did) by an helicopepter to a transfer company so they will deliver at my country. But the luggage was stopped at the custom office in London airport which asked fees 4.000 pounds. I didn't pay the amount, then the transfer company asked for the security of the luggage 240 pounds/month (company's email:support@expresscourier247.com). His e-mail is: andrejose0147@gmail.com. I feel really stupid.
