On LinkedIn I was contacted at that point by someone going by the name of Schneider Weaver who said he owned Midtex Textile and Fashion Co. in London. After some chit chat he wanted to move the conversation to “Google Hangout” where he quickly started to express romantic feelings.

He claimed that his wife and daughter had been killed in an automobile accident 5 years prior and that he was lonely and so forth. He said he was coming to NewYork in 2 weeks to find a location to move his business and wanted me to join him there. He said he also wanted to buy a home there and wanted me to marry him. I really started having questions in my mind when I could not get him to send me any affidavits about himself that I could share with my family as to his identity. He said we would just first go to visit my family in Florida so that he could personally tell them about himself. But when I tried to get him to pay for the accommodations I had located there he asked me to pay for them because he wasn’t used to paying online. That’s when I reverse imaged 2 photos he sent and got a plethora of hits of this being a scam.

I’m so thankful that it only took 1 week for me to learn the truth but feel foolish for ever believeing one word. One thing that puzzled me was the fact that I physically saw him on live video twice and he looked like the man in the photos, However I was never able to hear him. First he said we were having technical difficulties then he said the mouthpiece on his phone wasn’t working properly. I read somewhere that these scammers are able to manipulate video. So from that I’m assuming they have video of the person in the photos but of course mute any sound because there’s no way to have a conversation with a video. I went back on LinkedIn and he had changed his name to Michael Wolfgang Doemens and I saw at least half a dozen other fake male profiles there with the same face just different names and tittles mostly doctors. And then just now I have looked on LinkedIn and he’s changed name, photo & company. He’s now Michael Wolfgang of New Age Fashion Co. and the new photo is also a stolen identity used for scamming.

I hope this individual or these individuals can get caught and blocked from social media sites in the us so that others will not be victimized by them.

Showing up as Dr Raymond Dennis on the Scrabble game. Will actually play some Scrabble with you and slowly ask to get to know you better on a chat.

I think I’m being scammed by a guy who is using your photos Dr Kerem. Are you on an United Nations 🇺🇳 peace keeping your in Iraq 🇮🇶 right now? I will be very appreciated if you could answer my questions because I don’t want to be a fool anymore and send gift cards to “you” because you want to leave the tour early. The name he goes by is Sunday William at email 📧 Sundaywill672@gmail.com. He also says he has a son named Kelvin. Do you have any kids? And the big one he uses is he’s a widow of a woman who past from cancer after 27 years of marriage! I do apologize if you’re a widow. Would appreciate a quick response because this guy is making my life Hell.😩

    1. Dr Bikmaz never works for the UN
      The UN does not have Doctors in Iraq.
      Sunday William is the African name... Kelvin is a well known Nigerian joke name

      HE IS ONLY MAKING YOUR LIFE HELL BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT BLOCKING HIM.
      Play DEAD
      Do not answer.. block everywhere and stand up to this.. Keep the Nigerians out of your life

    2. Some scammers are from Ghana. Anyway, some victims are addicted to the romantic feelings. Must be the dopamine.

      I got a friend request with Dr. Kerem's photo and goes by the name John Oriyomi David. NO American or European is named Oriyomi. The name itself is a giveaway. You can tell it's an African name. I DENIED the friend request, and reported the profile.

  2. Unfortunately I also have to report someone who signs on Facebook as Morgan John using your photos (profile and sent in messages on messenger). In Poland, women are contacted on FB to get in touch with them and then to pay for - of course fake - passes for soldiers. Yes, the person who stole your photos wrote that he is a member of the U.S. Army, deputy of the First Armored Division in Kabul (Afghanistan) and was sent there 6 months ago. Why don't you report this to the appropriate uniformed service that deals with cyber bullies?
    Greetings from Poland

    1. nobody can report this .... these are Nigerian scammers in a country of corruption where Dr Bikmaz can't report . Social media are not helping them. This is not cyber bullying this is organised crime. It needs full action by the Social Media heads !

      Please see that we post extensively to military.. please have a look around what we do .. and what can't be done.

    3. A VIDEO CALL IS ALWAYS FAKED.
      The video is played on a laptop and filmed on a phone. You see the man move and see him speak.
      There is no 'chat'. You do NOT have a conversation with him and his mouth does not go to the words in your 'chat'.
      They will say bad reception or some reason for not having a proper chat. Just seeing the man means as little as seeing him on a picture. FAKES... SCAMMER'S TRICKS

      You saw him move, video is as easy to steal as any pictures. They always have video and it is used to great effect but they only way a video call is valid is when you have a 2 way conversation! In real time.

      Thank for the information and I am glad you did search.
      No they do not get caught or blocked... it takes them being found out so they get nothing to fight them

  7. They are back and trying once more. I recieved a friend request from Fromm Justin today using the Dr's photos on Facebook. I google searched the photos and it led me here. I knew immediately it was a scam so I'm letting you know that they are back at it again with his photo's. I have no idea what their lies are, I did not communicate.

  8. My mom has been contacted by a person using these pics going by the name Terry Jones Bruno. She has given this person alot of information thinking he was this real person. He told her he works offshore and he is in Ireland right now. She has even been contacted by some other people about taking out a “loan” and of course she did it and it was a scam and has now messed her up at the bank. This man supposedly “took care” of it by calling the loan people that contacted her. She is 75 and wanting companionship so she fell for someone giving her attention telling her he liked her even as far as reminding her to take her medication!! These people need to be stopped!

    1. ANYONE that claims to be on an engineer on an oil rig is never real.
      They do not do it. Real men do NOT go looking on social media to contact women.
      Every time someone says they are an Engineer or on a rig, or any engineer , it is a scammer from
      West Africa with love words.
      NEVER AGREE TO GO TO HANGOUTS,WHATSAPP OR ANY OTHER CHAT APP.
      They WILL ask for cards and/ or cash
      NEVER SEND ANYTHING TO ANYONE YOU HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON. IT WILL ALWAYS BE A SCAM
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      They won't be stopped because they are not said no to. They are evil but from a country so corrupt it welcomes it's scammers. They are celebrities in their own country.
      I wish they could be stopped, there is a massive amount of information online... and yet nobody checks it, it's heartbreaking. I am so sorry they found her... companionship will never be found online. Scammers have ruined online for everyone
  9. I agree. They all have used (8) of his images to me. I caught 2. Both in Nigeria. One said he wants me to financially support him! I went OFF! Weirdo! The other one came clean and he is in love with me!? LOL He is sweet, and we REAL face time now. We did before sometimes but he was the Doctor on the Rig and they had to share the camera! In reality, his people and him have an app to put faces on people talking and it looks real. Spooky. I hate being duped. Or screwed. I still have 6 to delete. The sad thing is I wanted to go this Dr. for medical attention and now I would be to embarrassed.
    1. It worries me that you have fallen for the 'love you now' from the Nigerian scammer. This is common and is as much of a scam as the 'scam' was. They know they can get nowhere and so suddenly he declares love. Of course you can facetime. HE IS SCAMMING BUT NOW AS HIMSELF. Please, get out of it. It is not true he is still lying to you
