GIVE HIM NOTHING.. NO MONEY AND NO DETAILS.. these are wanted for identity theft.. setting up a bank account and getting loans.. IN YOUR NAME.
They will play you a video of the man in the pictures.. with an American accent of course.. then they ring.. with a very different voice and accent.
Playing a video and saying it's a bad connection is common. Unless a video call is clear and you can talk and him answer it is always fake.
