Met this guy in July 2021 on the dating app.. plenty of fish posing as Alex Liam Black. Says he was from California but recently moved to Ohio and days after talking he was deployed to South Africa for a peacekeeping mission. After maybe a week he started begging for money by buying him $100 Google play cards, which led me to reverse search his name & images which lead me here because, hello "I ain't crazy". Watch out ladies!

  1. This Facebook page is no longer available, but created a new facebook profile https://www.facebook.com/lancellot.black his name on it currently is Lancelot B Pyrex... i am talking to this scammer using this poor guys pictures right now, i want to see how far and how quickly this scammer will go. Obviously I was aware of the scam fairly early and begin to research this guy. Found a lot of pictures of this same guy. I am also determined to find the real guy on the pictures, he deserves to know that someone is steeling his image. If you know anything about him please share with me in private. Janet

  2. I know that the guy on the picture definitely works or worked for the U.S. Military as I have pictures of him in camouflage army combat uniform with the name Black on it. So the scammer not only uses this guy`s pictures but his surname as well. I have received a fair amount of pictures of him so I am guessing that the scammer managed to steal a lot of his photos and probably still doing it by having continuous access to this guy`s social media. I am from London by the way. The scammer can`t get me as tanks to you and other internet searches I became aware fairly quickly. However,I feel so sorry for this poor guy, so all help and ideas of how to find him or help to get in touch with him in any way would be greatly appreciated. Janet again

  3. He's still scamming. I met him on a dating site: plenty of fish. I can't remember his handle...sorry. He is going by Walter Black as of right now. He as asked for itones cards and Amazon gift cards that way he can keep his data going while on deployment with US Army( red flag right there)which I have refused to get for him. I'm not sure who the real Black is or if he even realized that his pictures and videos are being used. But when I ask this guy yo do a video chat on WhatsApp, he keeps coming up with reasons why he can't do one right now and when he talks over the app when he calls, his voice does not match with the voice in the videos (more red flags). I'm from the US by the way. Not sure where the fake one is from been trying to get it out of them. I just feel sorry for the real one....he looks like a nice guy. And defantely has a good singing voice lol.

    1. I apologise but due to no internet for several days I have not been able to get on here to answer. It was outside my control and I am sorry.
Yes he knows and it is bad for him that he can't do anything about it.
The scammers are from West Africa and this is a way of life for them.. use an attractive man, find a woman to steal money from. This is what this is all about.
      Remember this ! :
NOBODY that contacts you and tells you they are military are real.

They are not allowed to contact strangers, they have no need to and they don't do it. They are NOT allowed to tell a stranger where they are.
ANY contact claiming MILITARY is a scammer from WEST AFRICA.
