FAKE

THERE ARE NO US TROOPS IN DAMASCUS. There are a very small number deployed in Raqqa where there is no internet access (even if they ask you for money for it !!) IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM TO 'LIVE IN DAMASCUS'

Real man is called Neil and he has a page online where you can easily find him using a Google images search.

No.. this isn't the real one and the other pictures are stolen and used.. THIS IS A SCAMMER.. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY.

  1. These pictures and the guy's name are being used in a scam as 'Harry Hancock' also. The scam starts in the Hornet dating app. This time the guy is in Afghanistan in his last three weeks of duty. He is going to come over and he's going the spend the rest of his life with 'the love of his life' (he referes to me). This goes on for 3 weeks. Then he needs personal information to be able to send a stache of secret gold (or the money from it) so this new life is secured.
That rang the final bell. Though the conversations were fun (allthough being called 'baby' for more than a thousand times gets a bit annoying), it sometimes showed that this man wasn't a native English speaker. The pigeon English used was a hint. Also he never replied/answerd on personal questions about hometown, family (everyone deceased), studies, favourite music/food, ...
be aware everyone, never trust anyone you haven't seen in person with detailed info of yourself.
    best,
    Peter

    1. I just met Josep Hancock Ben. He used this picture to scam also in 2020! His look is changed a little bit. I guess they use photoshop to change the look. But the look is so similar. He said he was in the aren’t and asked for money as he could not access his bank account. Don’t trust him

    2. He is not the scammer, his pictures have been stolen and used by scammers from West Africa so I know you now what to look out for but beware of them trying again! Thank you
