STEPHEN WAS NEVER IN THE U.S. Army, ALL HIS PICTURES ARE PHOTOSHOPPED.

 NO U.S. ARMY GENERAL HAS A FACEBOOK PAGE LIKE THIS.

 NO U.S. ARMY GENERAL NEEDS A FACEBOOK PAGE LIKE THIS. HAS TIME FOR ONE OR IS CONTACTING
PEOPLE FOR LOVE AND MONEY FROM FACEBOOK.

 IF ANY U.S. ARMY GENERAL WANTS A SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILE IT WILL HAVE A 'VERIFIED' BY FACEBOOK BLUE CIRCLE WITH TICK IN IT.

 IF IT DOESN'T HAVE THAT.. IT ISN'T GENUINE.

Aldo under the name Alexander Alvarado with a son killed in Afghanistan.Also as a Carlo something or other...what a consummate liar.
I have been scammed by this evil vile pig fake; i lost my partner and was looking for romance; being at a vulnerbale point, i fell for it just a day ago; he was on widower/widow site; i actually belived him for about three quarters of the day! then i read through his messages and though he is not writing in proper english; not using the right words; i cannot belive i belived him; saying he is a captain in the royal navy; that he lost his wife and 2 kids in a car accident; using the name miles davenport; i seriously was happy for three quarters of the day! then i thought come on now, so i searched the name, nothing came up; and just this morning, i searched the pictures; at least he doesnt know my last real surname; i have been devastated by the loss of my partner; and just for a few hours i was actually happy; im sickened and disgusted by him, whoever he is; he is using this email ; borntodothebest@gmail.com evil, vile, monster.

      Yes.. you have that right, scammers are evil and vile and monsters.
      Be very careful as the internet and especially dating sites and social media is flooded with scammers.
      NOBODY that contacts you and says Military will ever be real.. scammers know this attracts.
      It affects everyone and even the man in the pictures, very badly.
      Please stay safe. If you can find someone close to you that you can arrange to meet.. then fine. Military.. or engineer/doctor/contractor across the world.. and it will be more evil, vile monsters.

    He is trying to scam my mother in law using the name Jeffrey nani cena,he got pretty upset when i told my mother in law not to give her credit card details to him.. They have been talking for a lot of months now.. This man should be arrested for stealing the real stephen murphys photos and just being a low life jerk.. -Philippines

      This is the problem, they know that they won't get arrested. Their law is as corrupt as they are.

    He’s on fb with the name John Richards. One pic has one like on it, LINDA Whigham. I contacted her. She laughed and said she doesn’t give Money. I told her it was a scam and she said she needed to see my account then blocked me. Her profile says she is widowed and needs Money. All fingers point to her. I have all screen shots if needed. She also has a couple accounts with same name.

    He found me on Facebook and then moved me to his e-mail. He said his name was Gregory Louis and he was from my home town. He said he's on a peace keeping mission in Kabul Afghanistan. He has been trying to get me to help him move his money out of Kabul.

      Drop and block. The fake moving money is one of their oldest scams and it just entails you getting a lot of emails with fake documents and pestering you to pay taxes, duties and everything else they can come up with. You'll never get rid of them if you don't block.

    No doubt every women with broken heart and lonely fall to this handsome photos of Stephen Murphy and I admit I'm one of them. Behind is a scammer claiming that he is the commanding General of the US Army and on peace keeping mission based in Syria for 11 years within 2 months time he's retiring from the military after 30 years in the service. Then ask help to claim his retirement money (bank account). God is Good!.. I have this instinct to reseach and found out all this then I immediately block him in all my accounts. He never gets money from me but unfortunately he got my real name and some of my photos. He's using hangouts Davis_Morgan5 on instagram and @DavisMo07045197 on tweeter.

    He contacted me using Messenger under the name Austin Basil saying he is a General Major in the US Army. Never asked me for money but my stupid ass said he could send me a briefcase with 4 bars of gold in it. When I found out that he is a scammer, I sent him a message stating I will not accept the briefcase and for him to contact the company he is using to ship it,to stop it from being delivered. Now what do I do?

      Nothing at all.. please think about it.. have you ever felt the weight of even one bar of gold??So FOUR....there was no Austin Basil. There is no gold and there is not shipping company it is all an elaborate scam to get you to pay money to get this briefcase through 'customs' and they will ask for a LOT of money.. the fake package scam IS the ask for money.
      Just he doesn't ask.. someone else contacts you and does !
      BLOCK EVERYTHING TO DO WITH THEM... or you will never get rid of them and please, don't talk to any more strangers ! THEY WILL ALWAYS BE A SCAM

Diz que está na Síria e é general, manda fotos, mostra vídeos como se fosse mesmo ele,vídeos que estão na net,pede dinheiro para ter rede para poder falar, pede dinheiro emprestado para poder apanhar o avião, é terrível ...as fotos são da real marinha inglesa e diz que é americano, para mim ele está no Gana, tem um passaporte em nome de Oscar Vallery falso, já lhe disse que ele é um golpistas e ele ignorou como se nada se passasse, está bloqueado.

    Eu recebi algumas mensagens de um homem chamado Alan Darren,ele estava usando a fotografia do seu rosto. Achei muito estranho e comecei a investigar sobre os soldados americanos e descobri que nenhum soldado americano pode ter páginas nas redes sociais. Então comecei a rastrear de onde estavam sendo enviadas as mensagens para mim.
    Se eu puder de alguma forma ajudar tenho todos os dados.
