This began as a Romance Scam with Colonel Brian Johnson
(the victim is not an English speaker and it was all done using Google translate).

He wanted to send her a 'briefcase' full of very cash and documents and of course she was the only person he could send it to.

IN comes the 'DIPLOMAT' ..

NOT SOMEONE WHO CARRIES CASES AND DELIVERS PARCELS ACROSS COUNTRIES. THIS IS A VERY COMMON SCAMMER ERROR.

He shows a
Diplomatic Passport... it's fake but a Diplomatic passport is only used in service of THE GOVERNMENT.. and not any individual. 

TRAVELLING ON A DIPLMATIC PASSPORT MEANS YOUR BAGS CAN'T BE OPENED OR INSPECTED ! .. Yet this 'diplomat ' has to pay customs and taxes in every country do goes to and manages many between Afghanistan and where you are !!

‼️With some basic checks this scam need not have happened.. basic checks BEFORE any money was sent... You are happy to use Google for Translate and yet NOT to check on whether any of this could be true??? Information is easy to find.

• Also : The name of the fake diplomat was Joseph Harrod and he called me to Spain from this telephone number that was supossed to be a number from Britain: 44 7452 053576
• I didn't save the exact email of this man, because I closed the email from where I write both the captain and the diplomat, but what I told was sure, it was an email@diplomats.com.

So... we now get to the money.... he wants $2700 for the 'Diplomat' to send the suitcase.
