I need help...My mom has discovered one Dr.David Samadi who claims he's in Syria . Apparently he and my mom met on Facebook and he told her he love her and wants to marry her.Ge even told her that he has a consignment box of 4.3 Million USD in ghana that needed to be collected but he has no access to as yet due to him being in a war zone. So he gave her a email address to contact some kinda diplomats to pretend to be his wife to enable her to collect the consignment box.Like most women my mom fell for the lies. The so called diplomat ask her to send 800usd to them to be able to send the box through via shipping. My mom made the payment of 254 USD through via western union. But as a child of the 21st century I felt it in my bones that it was all a big scam.So I did a little research on my own that soon led me to the conclusion that indeed it was a huge scam . Because I read some stories online presented by person who has been scammed too and in their story has the same garbage he has been feeding my mom. Thanks to the evidence i obtain from the internet I was finally able to convinced my mom it was all a big scam. But we would really like to know who is behind this.

DeleteYour scammer is sat in Ghana. Protected. They see nothing wrong in this. To them it's simply that the scammer contacts and tells some lies, not nice but not a crime. Then he asks for money and women send.
So.. in Ghana law that is her fault and they do nothing about it. The Diplomat thing is the wrong use of the word that Africans always use.
Their stories are all very similar. But they work. Asking for money with 'love you babe' thrown in.. not all women fall for it !! No man would ever get any money from me !! I only wish all women thought about that if it sounds too good to be true then it is.
So in answer to your question. Who is behind it.. well Ghana scammers are organised crime. Untouchable, rich and heartless.. and very very evil.
I also a victim of this guy. But I found out soon. Im from Indonesia. I found out he is scammer after I check the ID. sIDpity dr David that was used by him.
