Hiya, I'm currently talking to this fake person, using this poor fella's pictures. He's going by Richard Watkins and is on okcupid. His story is that he is in Washington Dc (using an American number for whataspp). He's got an 11 year old daughter, but he lost he mother 2 years ago. He wants his soulmate, a woman to love, etc etc - he's gone overboard. But his language for a 39 year old who has lived in America for 22 years and is about to retire - he would move to anywhere in the world to be with his soulmate. I replied 'Lucky girl'. This guy is apparently from the uk but it just isn't right - the syntax sounds like when you ring up an Indian call centre and they are reading from a script...
I got suspicious when he kept asking the same questions over and over and I replied - I told you this 20 minutes ago?
Then I spoke to my friend and she said she had something similar - sent me screenshots of the same lines she got. If they seem too good to be true, they usually are.

THIS IS ANOTHER SCAM IN THE INCREASING TREND OF TARGETING GAY MEN.

Just as in all scams.. he loves you in a couple of days.. and wants to be with you... he tells you he has an up coming birthday (Nov 30th)... and he wants presents sending.. a care package of t-shirts, underwear, cookies, etc.

He doesn't ask for money yet.. he says he wants to be with you when his 'enlistment ends' on Dec 30th... they will ask for money then.

This scammer is working on Instagram and Kik and is using the pictures of a young soldier that has been used many times before.

He is a beggar. Wants $100 iTunes cards and money for medical test.. air tickets etc.
These air tickets are very easy to make online and screenshot. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
